LifeStyles,
Inc. is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide affordable,
accessible service, activities and goods to support and encourage
individuals, families, and community development. In February
of 1998, LifeStyles was created to address the many needs of
our community. Since its inception, LifeStyles has been dedicated
to issues relative to health, human services and economic growth
in the community. LifeStyles acts as an outreach, referral,
and service delivery source promoting the dissemination of materials
to educate the general public and navigating persons through
existing services.
LifeStyles connects individuals to available resources by assessing
their needs, determining their eligibility and implementing
necessary services. Additionally, the organization identifies
gaps and works to develop programs which bridge these gaps.
These programs focus on health care and prevention, human services,
education, employment, life skills, and economic development.
One
of the strengths of LifeStyles is the close proximity to the
daily lives of individuals and families in need. We are part
of our communities, possessing a great understanding of the
community needs and its systems. The sense of mission from
which we work translates into a unique approach to service
delivery, a dedication of services to others, and a cultural
awareness of issues specific to the surrounding communities.
